Aims
This course aim at helping students to cultivate their awareness of intercultural communication as well as to enhance their pursuit of English language competence. The course presents cases in intercultural communication to have a keen insight into the cultural differences in intercultural communication, advocating students’ eagerness to come to intercultural awareness. Apart from cases study, the course summarize some golden principles for successful and smooth intercultural communication.

Teaching and Learning
Lectures and presentations by the lecturer will be integrated with students, centered in-class activities including tasks and exercises, independent, group and pair work. A number of seminars will be held on the topics introduced in class.
