The Teaching Demo Contest for Young Teachers from Applied English Section, English Department was held for the first time on April 12th at A306 Qiuzhi Building. Teachers under 35 years old (including 35 years old) participated in the context by submitting a teaching plan and a multimedia course-ware. Fang Lu, He Lili and Zheng Guanwen made their way to the 15-minute on-site teaching section and demonstrated their sheer English, or bilingual (Sino-Japanese, Sino-English)teachings, whose poise, teaching plans and coursewares left a deep impression on the 18 members of the contest committee. According to the poll, Zheng Guanwen got most votes and was awarded the first prize, Fang Lu and He Lili the second prize, while the third-prize winners were Sun Zhiting, Lin Beibei, Liu Menghan and Tian Xingyu.
