A Journey to Ningbo City
2013&2014 Excellent Class
Nowadays, college students are facing competing pressures. It is necessary for us to be exposed to the outside world, because it can make us
recognize the gap of education between our students and theirs so that we can realize our weakness and be hardworking to catch up with them.
Thanks to Mr.Gong and our teachers, we had this great chance to go outside and experienced something new. This educational journey not only
enhances our knowledge, but also broadens our horizons.

The schedule had been designed for 2 days, October 14th and 15th. In the morning of 14th, we packed up our belongings and left for railway
station with excitement. At 8:14am, we boarded bullet train which took us three hours and a quarter from Ningde to Ningbo.

At 13:20, we visited Ningbo No.3 High School, which made us amazed, because it is so wellorganized and really beautiful. There are many medals
on the wall to show the development of the school. Whatis more, they set up various feature classes for students who want to go abroad. Then we
observed a class of Senior Three. The topic was about studying abroad. Miss Ye was wellprepared and welorganized in class. The students felt free
to ask questions, to disagree, or to express their own idea.

At the end of class, Peter and Jane shared their personal experience to tell us how to improve our English. After class, we had a heated discussion as
well as communication of this class.

The second day, we attended a wonderful class of Senior One in Ningbo No.3 High School. The teacher encouraged and assured full student participation
in class. We learnt much from it.
After class, Miss Zeng invited us to visit English Salon and carried out teaching discussion with English teaching and research group. We exchanged
views about “how to be a excellent high school teacher”. They said,“Ability is the most significant. And to speak English with great fluency is the basic skill of being an excellent high school English teacher. ”The suggestion teachers gave benefited us a lot. We also were attentive and involved.

All of us harvested much from this journey. Only when we contact with the outside world can we realize that the world we are in is the smallest one.
Therefore, we must work harder and lift our capacity. In other words, nothing lay ahead of us, but exertion, struggle, and perseverance.
Finally, we want to say thanks to Mr. Gong and our teachers again for giving us such a meaningful and unforgettable educational journey.
