On March 31st, 2016, Wang Xuwei, a member of the faculty of Foreign languages
Department, gave a lecture on A Deeper Understanding of English Grammar,
featuring those relatively more important and difficult points, with a focus on
providing practical guidance lines for undergraduate English majors’ writing
and translation work. The one-hour lecture was attended by many enthusiastic students
who all listened intently. During the question-and-answer session, the lecturer positively
interacted with the listeners and thoroughly illustrated the difficulties they would come across
in their course of study.
