2013年7月-8月，本人在美国交流访问期间，访问了TIF County High School，Jasper County High School，University of Georgia 以及 Plains 市。在访问两所高中时，本人分别与两所学校的教师就中美教育理念和教学法进行了沟通和交流，相互学习借鉴；访问University of Georgia时，本人参观了该所大学的校园设施，了解了美国高等教育的教学情况，并向该所大学的学生介绍了中国文化，特别是宁德特色的文化产业和旅游资源。在Plains市，本人有幸见到前美国总统吉米 卡特，并聆听了他有关美国当前形势报告，领略了美国国家领导的风采，在报告会结束时，有幸受到卡特总统的接见，并与其合影留念。此次访问美国，使我对美国的高中教育、大学教育以及美国的政治、文化均有了一定的了解，有助于提升我的教学水平。
In July and August, 2013, I visited TIF County High School, Jasper County High School, University of Georgia and city of Plains in the United States. In the two high schools, I discussed with high school teachers on Sino-US educational concept and teaching methodologies. We shared our views and learned from each other. At University of Georgia, I toured the campus and learned the situation of American higher education. I also introduced Chinese culture to the students, especially the unique cultural industries and tourism resources of Ningde City. In the city of Plain, I was honored to meet Jimmy Carter, former President of the United States and listened to his report on current situation of the US. Afterwards, we took a picture together. This visit gave me an opportunity to get to know something about American high school education, higher education, politics and culture, which would be helpful to my teaching in the future.
