Recently the interpreting and translating teams of our department did a good job for communication between Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India and Chamber of Fujian Provincial Electric Motor Export Base in Ningde and received praises from both sides.
Before they met, our team members Shanshan and Joe were asked to help translate a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two chambers. When the representatives Mr. Ranajit Dattagupta and Mr. Chidrup Shah of the Indian Chamber arrived, Shirley and Joe were even busier helping them with their daily communication. They held a symposium about their cooperation reaching consensus that they would support each other with bilateral business affairs and would jointly work together in their expo business. Besides the Indian friends were shown around factories producing motors and pumps.
The highlight of the visit was that they were received by our municipal deputy Mayor Yang who expressed her warm welcome to their visit and the Indian side also responded warmly saying that they would like to see strong bonds between the two countries and they would come back with more business contact and they also hoped their embassy or consulate officials in future would come too for higher cooperation.
