Recently a delegation from Phoenix Academy of Australia visited our university. The members included Brian Walsh, managing director, Tim Walsh, business development and projects manager, and Garath Mouncey who is China Marketing Manager. Phoenix Academy is one of the largest training centers in Australia and has helped train many teachers in Australia and across the globe and won many honors. Both sides talked about the cooperation and singed a MOU in a hope of working together in the following aspects:
· Development of joint international programs giving Ningde University students advanced standing in the above institutes(3 + 1; 2+2 etc)
· exchange of leaders and staff
· teacher training programs
· joint research activities
· joint conferences and other academic meetings
· exchange of academic materials and information
· exchange of students，etc.
President Wei and some other heads including Dean Gong of the related departments and bureaus participated in the meeting and witnessed the signing.
